Providence Christian School is a growing Christian school in Monarch, Alberta.
It is situated in a beautiful, southern, rural community, minutes from Lethbridge.
Providence has grades K-12 with over 200 students and 13 FTE staff members.

This position has some flexibility in the teaching assignment.  Ideally, the applicant is comfortable teaching courses in the humanities in Grades 6-10; however, we encourage any applicants who desire to teach in Grades 6-10 to apply.  

Qualifications:

• Experienced teacher with training and understanding of the meaning and value of Christian-based pedagogies and methodologies
• Rooted in the Reformed tradition and by experience, acquainted with the history, culture, doctrines, and practices of the Reformed churches and schools.
• Have a BEd
• Have an Interim or Professional Alberta Teacher Certificate
