Abbotsford Christian School, located in the Fraser Valley, is a well-established interdenominational school of 1321 students in three campuses: elementary (preschool – grade 4), middle (5-8), and secondary (9-12).

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Abbotsford Christian School is accepting applications for a DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT. This is a salaried, full-time position commencing immediately. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Development will be responsible for maintaining high quality fundraising and donor development in the context of advancing ACS’ mission and vision. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Experience specific to leadership

· Experience and excellence demonstrated in management and leadership skills

THE IDEAL APPLICANT MUST

· Demonstrate evidence of a deep and disciplined understanding of the Christian worldview

· Establish positive working relationships with school staff, families, students, and community partners

· Be able to manage a sophisticated fundraising database system

· Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
