Position Summary

The Director of Operations is a senior leadership position responsible for the operational, financial, and administrative management of the Society. Working closely with the Executive Director, the Director of Operations provides strategic leadership to ensure the organization's resources, facilities, finances, and operational systems effectively support the Society's mission of providing Christ-centered education.

This role oversees financial stewardship, budgeting, capital projects, facilities management, transportation services, fundraising administration, grant development, and organizational policies and procedures. The Director of Operations also serves as a key liaison with the partnering School Division, contractors, government agencies, and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate is a mature Christian, who demonstrates a strong faith, actively serves in a local church, and models servant leadership in all aspects of their work.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field (CPA preferred), with 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit operations and financial management.  Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, governance, Board relations, budget
management, and leading multidisciplinary teams, supported by exceptional analytical and communication skills. 

**Applicants with experience in Christian education, nonprofit leadership, and educational organizations, expertise in facilities and transportation management, capital projects, fundraising, grant administration, and knowledge of Alberta nonprofit legislation and education funding will be given preference.
