    The Edmonton Society for Christian Education is currently accepting applications for a full-time EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR beginning April 1, 2025.

    Reporting directly to the ESCE Board of Directors, the Executive Director serves as the chief administrator of the Society and represents the Board in managing its daily operations. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management of Society staff, finances, facilities, and communications.

    In partnership with school Principals, the Executive Director ensures effective collaboration between the Society and Edmonton Christian Schools, creating a team-oriented environment that advances the shared mission. The Executive Director also maintains and nurtures the Society’s relationship with the Edmonton Public School Board, ensuring alignment with shared goals and fostering ongoing cooperation.

    Additionally, the Executive Director leads fundraising and financial development initiatives, oversees Society facilities and transportation, and ensures effective communication with Society members, alumni, and the broader community.

    The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides Abbotsford Christian School (ACS) with financial leadership and is responsible for all financial aspects of the ACS Society. As a member of the leadership team, the CFO collaborates with stakeholders to ensure the short- and long-term financial sustainability of the school, financial alignment with strategic priorities, enhancement of operational efficiency, stewardly use of resources, and management of the Society’s exposure to risk and liability. The CFO provides oversite to the board finance team, finance department staff, director of operations, and human resources, and provides support to the board of directors by contributing to the strategic direction of the school and collaborating on school initiatives and projects.     Koinonia Christian School Red Deer Society interdenominational, is accepting applications for the position of Executive (Senior) Principal.

    KCS-RDS Authority operates 3 interdenominational discipleship Schools: Campus, Emmaus, (a DSESP school) and Koinonia@Home (a Home Education / Distance Learning Program).

    Duties would include oversight of the 3 schools plus principalship of the online / home education program. Interested individuals need to have a good understanding of operations of an independent school, minimum of 4 - 5 years administration experience, hold a valid Alberta teaching certificate along with a LQS designation (or in process or able to obtain that designation).

    • 5-10 years of teaching experience; at least 5 years in a leadership role preferred.
